Zulu Falls is a rustic thornveld lodge overlooking the majestic Mooi River falls in Middelrus, KZN. We offer reasonably-priced self-catering accommodation in an unspoilt bush environment that will allow you to relax and rejuvenate.

- Game walks and game drives – the farm has stable populations of giraffe, zebra, impala, wildebeest, and blesbuck. Kudu have also been spotted from time to time.

What to bring
Please bring your food, drinks, and towels, firelighters, and charcoal if you plan to braai. You should also bring your own mosquito and tick repellant. We provide bed linens, cutlery, crockery, glasses, and basic kitchen and braai utensils, so you don’t need to bring those.
Rates
The nightly rate depends on the number of people. For groups of 8 or more people, the rate is R350/person/night aged 12 and over. For groups of 7 or fewer, the rate is R400/person/night. Kids aged 5-12 are R200/person/night, and kids 4 and under stay for no charge.
There is a minimum R100/day tip for each of the two domestic staff who work during your stay. This is payable in cash to the staff on your departure day.
Other info
Vodacom and Cell C signal is weak but available. However, there is very limited MTN coverage.
The internal dirt roads are better suited to high clearance vehicles but 4×4’s are not essential.
Don’t expect anything more than the basics with regards to the facilities and amenities – the charm of Zulu Falls lies in its rustic simplicity and stunning setting.
